Runway and Taxiways

A 2,800 metre long and 45 metre wide concrete-asphalt runway in the direction of 11/29 is the basic element of the airport's infrastructure.

The runway is equipped with navigational lighting and a CAT III Instrument Landing System (ILS) on the main operational direction, RWY 29. This enables aircraft to land in conditions of reduced visibility with RVR ≥ 75 m. Airport procedures also allow take-offs with RVR ≥ 125 m.

The runway is connected to the parallel taxiway by seven rapid exit taxiways, ensuring a maneuvering area capacity of up to 40 operations per hour. In addition, the airside includes seven aircraft parking aprons, providing space for approximately 36 Code C aircraft.
