The airline Wizz Air and Gdansk Airport together celebrated having carried 25 million passengers. This unique event demonstrates Wizz Air's commitment to the development of aviation in the region, as well as providing low-cost fares to passengers.
The 25 millionth passenger arrived in Gdansk today from London-Luton.
"We are delighted to celebrate 25 million passengers served today in Gdansk by Wizz Air, our key carrier. A lot has changed since 2004, when Wizz Air launched their first service from Gdansk to London-Luton. Today, after 19 years, thanks to our cooperation, we can offer our passengers a vast network of connections. Together we are pursuing ever new goals, thanks to which both Wizz Air and Gdansk Airport can boast dynamic growth. I hope that our cooperation will continue to be as fruitful as it has been so far," said Tomasz Kloskowski, President of Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport.

Passengers have the opportunity to travel from Gdansk to destinations such as Alicante, Copenhagen, Kutaisi, Larnaca, Malaga, Oslo, Reykjavik, Split, Tenerife, Tirana and many more. The carrier's focus on the customer’s satisfaction combined with its ever-growing route network has contributed to this remarkable achievement.
