On 3 August first tickets were sold, and on 20 August new low-cost combined air & coach service was launched by AirPolonia.com, from Olsztyn and Elbląg to London, departing from Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport.

In relation with the opening of the new route, the two major cities of Warmia and Mazury regions entered the international flight schedules (IATA symbols: QYO, ZBG), even though no airlines land in the cities. Coach transport is provided by PKS Warmia and PKS Elbląg, which ensure travel standards comparable with air transport.

Passengers who depart from Bay 11 at the PKS Terminal in Olsztyn at 8:30 a.m. every Monday and Friday (also Wednesday starting 31 October) land at the London Stansted airport as early as 2:10 p.m. The change at Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport which involves customs  clearance and passenger check-in takes under an hour. A single Air Polonia ticket is valid for the entire route - the ticket costs PLN 40  more than the ticket from Gdansk to London. The coach from Elbląg departs at 10:30 a.m., and the flat rate for the coach route is PLN 20.

Tickets can be purchased on-line at airpolonia.com, from the country-wide AirPolonia.com Call Center at (22) 575 00 00, 575 00 77, 575 00 55, at the sales outlet  of PKS Warmia at the PKS Coach Terminal in Olsztyn, at the PKS Elbląg Travel Centre at the PKS Coach Terminal in Elbląg, at the Gdansk Airport and at the offices of Air Polonia Partners. This is not the first Airpolonia.com connection of this type - since 29 March, a combined air & coach service  has operated in Słupsk.
