Air Polonia Departs For London

The route is serviced by a modern Boeing 737 for 168 passengers.

At 11.30 the Management of Air Polonia officially introduced the new line in the passenger terminal. Entities which contributed to the launching of the new connection include Pomeranian Provincial Office in Gdańsk, the Pomeranian Governor's Office, Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot municipalities, Pomeranian Hoteliers Association and Gdańsk Airport Sp. z o.o.

A performance delivered by a couple of Latin dancing champions who had won a free flight to and stay in London as a prize in a competition held by Radio Gdańsk, Gazeta Wyborcza daily and Air Polonia, added lustre to the occasion. The first flight on the new route departed on 12.50 the same day.
