On July 1st 2002 the Municipal Transportation Board in Gdynia will start a new 'airport' bus service, no.600, connecting Gdynia with Gdańsk-Trójmiasto Airport.
The service will leave from the main railway station in Gdynia (from a stop outside the main entrance) and run along Dworcowa, 10 Lutego, Swiętojańska, Al. Piłsudskiego, Prusa and Ejsmonda Streets to the Hotel Nadmorski, and continue along Ejsmonda, Prusa, al. Piłsudskiego, al. Zwycięstwa, Wielkopolska and Chwaszczyńska Streets, the Tri-city bypass and Słowackiego Street in Gdańsk up to the airport.
The service will return to Gdynia along the same route, the only change being between Świętojańska Street and the main railway station in Gdynia, where the route will go through Kaszubski Square and along Jana z Kolna Street. In the beginning the service will only run on business days, ensuring connections with every other plane arriving at or departing from Rębiechowo. Special fares will be charged on the service: within Gdynia city borders - regular ticket PLN 5, discount ticket PLN 2.50; for the whole route - regular ticket PLN 10, discount ticket - PLN 5.
