The exhibition of Andrzej Klukowski paintings "A world which is no more..." opened under the patronage of Włodzimierz Machczyński - the President of Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport.
The exhibition started with a jazz concert presented by the Emil Kowalski Quartet - the programme of the concert included the most popular jazz standards by Charlie Parker and Benny Goodman, as well as other world-famous melodies.
The exhibited works of art depict the irretrievably lost world of the Polish Jews; a world perceived through the mind’s eyes. The paintings are warm, mysterious, sometimes melancholically symbolic. They form a pilgrimage in search of what connects rather than divides.
