Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport wins the GRYF GOSPODARCZY 2004 award

The competition was held by the Economic Parliament of the Pomeranian Province. The plebiscite aimed to promote Pomeranian companies and the local business. Winners were elected by a competition jury out of a list of nominated enterprises recommended by the Economic Parliament.

Companies were nominated in five categories depending on the volume of employment. During the verification process, the jury considered such factors as the volume of company sales to the local and external market, dynamic increase in employment, innovative character, the value of local investments, advancement of technologies and exports.

The jury additionally took account of the contribution of the company to the integration of the economic environment, regional and national promotion as well as sponsoring and charitable actions. Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport was awarded the prize in the category “exporter".
