Each person who has a ticket for the Europa League Final in Gdansk, arriving from the United Kingdom (only 26th of May), does not have to take the test after arrival.
The Final of the UEFA Football League will take place on Gdansk Stadium on 26th May 2021. The teams of Manchester United and Villarreal CF will play in the match.
According to the decision of Polish authorities 9.5 thousand of football fans can take part in the event. Most of them will arrive from abroad. Travelling by air is subject to many restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. So far, the travelers from Schengen zone can be exempted from the quarantine in Poland based on general regulations or based on the test performed in the country of departure or after their arrival to Poland. However, any persons arriving from non-Schengen countries must do the test in Poland. In order to facilitate the arrival of British football fans to the Europa League Final to Gdansk, Polish government has changed the regulation, allowing for their arrival with a test performed in the UK. ONLY 26th OF MAY.
The quarantine will not be required as long as a football fan takes the test not earlier than 48 hours before his/her arrival to Poland. Furthermore, he or she will have to produce to Polish Border Guard his/her ticket or a personal invitation to the match in Polish or English and he/she will have to produce to a Polish Border Guard officer the negative diagnostic test for SARS-CoV-2 in Polish or in English.
English Manchester United and Spanish Villarreal CF, these two teams will run out to Gdansk Stadium lawn in order to play the final match of UEFA Europa League. Europa League is an international club football tournament organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), participated by the leading teams of the national top level tournaments, except for the teams taking part in the Champions League. It was founded in 2009 as the continuation of UEFA Cup.
