Ryanair - from Gdansk to London

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 low fares airline, today announced 4 daily routes from London-Stansted to Poland: to Gdansk, Bydgoszcz, Szczecin & Rzeszow. These new daily services from London will commence on the 30th of October, 2005. Bookings can be made on Ryanair.com today from just PLN 19.00 PLN*.

Just one month after the announcement of a new scheduled service from Gdańsk to Frankfurt-Hahn, commencing on 30th of October, 2005 Ryanair is back with more good news.  Both new routes from Gdańsk will be operated with brand new Boeing 737 800 series aircraft holding 189 seats.

In addition, Ryanair announced today a further new route from London to Central Europe. On 30th of October, 2005, Ryanair will commence a twice daily service from London to Bratislava (Slovakia) bringing the total number of routes into Poland to 7 and into the whole CEE to 10!

Sean Coyle, Ryanair’s Director of Scheduled Revenues in Gdansk today said:

“Ryanair is delighted to be back in Gdansk with more great low fares news. Just one month after the announcement of Gdansk - Frankfurt-Hahn we’re giving more opportunities to celebrate! This new Ryanair daily service from London to Gdansk will provide a massive boost to tourism. We expect to carry more than 100,000 passengers in the first year of our operation and a large percentage of these passengers will be high spending British tourists. This brings the total number of passengers for the first year of operation to 160,000. The service will create at least 100 new jobs in the local economy.
