SAS Expansion in Gdansk: A new route to Bergen and more flights to Copenhagen.

11.10.2016 | 00:00

With the introduction of the summer 2017 flight schedule, SAS Scandinavian Airlines will provide a new, direct Bergen-Gdansk route and an increased number of flights from Gdansk to Copenhagen.

The Bergen-Gdansk flights will be available from 29th March 2017, three times weekly (Monday, Tuesday and Friday) according to the following schedule:
• Departure from Bergen at 20:05, arrival to Gdansk at 21:45
• Departure from Gdansk at 22:25, arrival to Bergen at 00:10

The route will be operated by Boeing 737 aircraft.

The new route will greatly complement the SAS airline offer in Gdansk by the flights to Copenhagen (currently, a four times daily service and a five times daily service in the summer 2017 schedule) and flights to Stockholm and Oslo.
Launching the new route is expected no only to meet the requirements of the passengers travelling for touristic purposes but also to improve the work and business passengers traffic. Gdansk is the second large European destination for Bergen (the first being London). The new route will complement up the current available flights offer for a large group of Poles living in Scandinavia.
