The rugby team from MKS Ogniwo Sopot, sponsored by Gdańsk-Trójmiasto Airport, came third

Being one of the sponsors of this promising team with excellent prospects (the competitors are aged 25 on average), Gdańsk-Trójmiasto Airport is particularly proud of this fact. It is worth stressing that at the end of the season the rugby players from Ogniwo played in T-shirts emblazoned with the airport's logo.

In appreciation of this honourable third place and in recognition of the valiant attitude of the team throughout the 2001/2002 season, the management of Gdańsk-Trójmiasto Airport decided to reward the four most valuable competitors, in the opinions of coaches and club supporters, with double invitations to a ferry cruise to Karlskrona, including a hotel stay in this beautiful city. We hope that during the trip the selected competitors will rest from the hardships of the season in splendid company and that they will enjoy the cruise.
