Wizz Air, the largest low fare - low cost airline in Central and Eastern Europe, took delivery of its first brand new Airbus A320 aircraft in the Airbus Industries’ facilities in Toulouse.

The new aircraft is leased from Aviation Capital Group (ACG), a subsidiary of Pacific LifeCorp on a five and a half year lease term. The aircraft is powered by International Aero Engine’s V-2500 engines and comes with a single class configuration of 180 seats as all the aircraft in Wizz Air’s all A320 fleet. This will be the 7th aircraft in fleet.
The new aircraft will serve the Polish market, including new routes from Warsaw to Kaunas, Dortmund and Budapest and from Gdansk to Stockholm starting on 1 December 2005.
