Centralwings suspends unprofitable connections

17.06.2002 | 00:00

Centralwings will cancel flights from Gdansk to Dublin and Edinburgh

In response to the falling interest of passengers in some of its connections, Centralwings airlines have suspended some of the connections or reduced their frequencies. The suspension concerns only the most unprofitable connections, for which passengers have booked least tickets. Unfortunately, the decreasing interest of passengers in such connections in combination with the growing charges would make such connections unprofitable in the near future.

The Company has decided to suspend the Kraków – Lille connection already in the half of September 2008. Moreover, the frequency of connections between Warsaw and Dublin will be reduced from 3 to 2 per week.

Furthermore, the Company has decided to suspend the launch of certain connections planned in the winter season. Customers will not be able to buy tickets for connections from Gdańsk to Dublin, from Gdańsk and Warsaw to Edinburgh and from Poznań to Rome for flights after 25 October 2008.
