easyJet to launch operations from Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport

The new daily service to London (Gatwick), with fares from 109 zł one way including taxes, will commence on 29 October. The new tri-weekly flights to Bristol & Edinburgh, with fares from 109 zł one way including taxes, will commence on 30 October. Seats are on sale now.
Gdańsk is the 3rd Polish airport to be added to the easyJet operation and takes the total number of airports on the airline’s European network to 82. Actually, including two new routes from Krakow (to Edinburgh and Bournemouth) announced last week, easyJet offers 14 routes from Poland. 

As part of the airline’s vision to offer travellers easy access to easyJet’s unique brand of low-fares with convenience, within 90 minutes of their home from their local airport, and coupled with the increasing demand for independent leisure travel, easyJet recognised the great potential for growth at Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport.

The Tricity has a huge catchment area and a demand for low-fare services and as a result the airline expects to carry 170 000 passengers on these three new routes within the first 12 months of operation.
