First dance party at Gdansk Airport

Several hundred people attended a dance party at Gdansk Airport. It was organized in the Passenger Terminal and senior citizens from Gdansk, Gdynia, Sopot and the Pomeranian region, including, but not limited to, Sierakowice, Gołubie, Kamienica Szlachecka and Stężyca, were invited. The invitation from the Airport was widely accepted. 

The private party was meant to be a part of the Airport's 50th anniversary, which falls in 2024, however, the celebration has already begun this year.

"We want to celebrate our birthday in different ways, we want to open up to different communities, including senior citizens, who may fly less often now, but who, as it turns out, are very keen to dance. This is how we perceive our role as a socially responsible and sensitive company," said Tomasz Kloskowski, President of Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport. 

The Eva Band were playing and singing live during this private party. Refreshments and drinks were provided for the participants by the Airport's partner - Lagardere company.
