New weekend flights from Turku to Gdansk.

Route from Gdansk to Turku will be operated by Jet Air on Fridays and Sundays with schedule tailored for weekend travelers.

On August 17th, 2009, Jet Air starts its co-operation with Turku based airline Wingo Xprs. The Jet Air's ATR 42 will fly on Wingo's route between Turku, Tampere and Oulu.

Thank to announced co-operation another international route from Gdansk to Turku will be operated by Jet Air on Fridays and Sundays with schedule tailored for weekend travelers.

Krzysztof Wicherek, CEO of Jet Air said: Our new service gives ability to plan weekend break in Gdansk for our passengers from Finland. Our co-operation with Wingo Xprs opens this offer also for passengers from Tampere and Oulu. I hope we will have more good news about our routes from Gdansk shortly.

Turku is fourth route after Krakow, Wroclaw and seasonal Warsaw, served by Jet Air from its Gdansk base.

Flights will commence on August 17th. The plane departs from Turku on Fridays at 21:00 local time and arrives to Gdansk at 22:00 local time. Jet Air's ATR will fly back to Turku on Sundays at 18:00 local time, arrival to Turku is scheduled at 21:00 local time.
