Offer of Winter Flights from Gdansk

Gdansk Airport offers 58 connections to 48 cities in 15 countries. This is the winter flight schedule which will commence to apply from 25th October.

The potential of Gdansk Airport is still large, despite the pandemic and the difficult situation on the aviation market caused by high uncertainty. We offer passengers most of the existing regular connections. We offer 11 destinations in Norway, incl. Oslo, Bergen and Stavanger. Gdansk Airport offers over 20 direct connections throughout Scandinavia in its winter flight network. Additionally, Wizz Air plans to increase the frequency of flights to some Scandinavian destinations from the beginning of December. Travels to Great Britain and Ireland are still very popular. London is still the number one destination for passengers flying from Gdansk. Travel to the islands remains in the network of connections despite the introduction of a 14-day quarantine obligation for people coming to Great Britain and the announcement of the highest level of epidemic threat in Ireland.

“Thanks to the connections network developed over the years, based on the potential of the Airport on individual markets, we offer our passengers a winter flights schedule known to them in most of the previous years, obviously, considering the reduction of frequency of some flights. These restrictions are small compared to other airports in Poland, and also taking into account the scale of cuts in flights made by airlines in Europe” - said Iwona Tomczynska, Head of the Economic Analysis and Marketing Department at Lech Walesa Gdansk Airport.

Despite winter, in the coming months, you will be able to fly from Gdansk to Malta and Milan, to Paphos and Larnaca in Cyprus or to Odessa in Ukraine. Gdansk Airport also offers the possibility of spending winter holidays on the beaches of Turkey and Egypt. Professional care during the holiday and organization of the entire trip from Gdansk this winter is provided by four tour operators: TUI, Nowa Itaka, Rainbow Tours and Coral Travel.

The so called „Aviation Winter” will last until the last weekend of March 2021. The connections to such anticipated destinations such as Barcelona and Alicante in Spain, Athens in Greece and Bari in Italy are expected to return in spring.

Gdansk Airport cares about the safety and comfort of their passengers. The Airport has implemented all the required recommendations of sanitary services related to counteracting coronavirus infections. The comfort of Gdansk Airport is increased by the Premium zone, where travelers can take advantage of the VIP and Executive lounge and quickly pass through the security control, i.e. Fast Track.
