Restricting the regulations is connected with the infection with Delta type mutation of coronavirus.
Travelling to Poland from outside the European Union, Schengen Area and European Economic Area
The travelers arriving to Poland/Gdansk from, including but not limited to, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, Georgia, Egypt, Albania, must undergo a 10 day quarantine which may be shortened after 7 days, provided that they have a coronavirus test performed in Poland and their test result is negative.
The exception is Turkey. Passengers travelling from Turkey may be released from the quarantine on the same conditions as passengers travelling from Schengen area.
Every person arriving from countries other than: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, Island, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Latvia, Malta, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania and Turkey must undergo a 10 day quarantine which may be shortened after 7 days, provided that they have a coronavirus test performed in Poland and their test result is negative.
Travelling to Poland from Schengen Area and the European Union, plus Turkey
If you travel to Poland from countries such as: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, Island, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Latvia, Malta, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania and Turkey you can be released from the quarantine if you take the coronavirus test before your arrival to Poland, within 48 hours from the test result until the moment of crossing Polish border.
The test can also be performed within 48 hours after landing in Poland.
Any persons immunized with the full dose of coronavirus vaccination are released from the quarantine and need no testing, provided that 14 days have passed since their last dose of the vaccination until their arrival to Poland and also the persons who suffered from Covid not longer than 6 months ago before their journey and can provide a certificate confirming this, are also released from quarantine.
Travelling children
Any children not older than 12, travelling to Poland supervised by carers or parents who are immunized or have negative Covid tests or children travelling as unaccompanied minors, are released from the quarantine and need no coronavirus testing. This applies only to people travelling to Poland from EU countries and Schengen Area. However, any children travelling from outside EU and Schengen Area are released from testing only then, if their parents or carers are immunized with a full dose of coronavirus vaccination or they travel as unaccompanied minors.
Transit
Any persons arriving to Poland who have flight tickets for further travelling and leave Poland within maximum 24 hours are released from the obligatory quarantine. This applies only to people travelling from outside EU and Schengen Area, i.e. all the countries apart from the listed ones: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, the Netherlands, Ireland, Island, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Latvia, Malta, Germany, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Hungary, Italy, Switzerland.
General conditions
Both antigen and PCR tests are recognized in Poland.
As from the 17th of July, all passengers will be obliged to complete the electronic location card on www.gov.pl. In case the passenger is not able to complete the form on the website, the paper option will be available on board of the plane (passengers have to contact the cabin crew).
