The Ryanair airlines have announced that in the summer of 2020 their airplanes will fly from Gdansk to Burgas in Bulgaria. Until now, it has been only possible to fly by charter planes to the Bulgarian coast.

Ryanair planes will fly from Gdansk to Burgas twice a week: on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The connection will start on 2nd June, flight reservations are already possible until 29th September. "We are pleased to announce a new route from Gdansk to Burgas. The connection will be launched in June and will become a part of the Ryanair summer flight schedule from Gdansk. Flights from Gdansk to Burgas will be operated twice a week, and passengers may book them until September 2020", said Olga Pawlonka from Ryanair.

"Ryanair gave us a wonderful gift for Christmas, introducing more rays of sunshine into our summer network of connections. I am convinced that the offer of flights to Burgas will meet great interest among our passengers. This is great news for tourists who will be able to organize a summer trip to Bulgaria on their own. And it is a financially attractive holiday destination", said Tomasz Kloskowski, the President of the Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport.
