The airline Norwegian expands to eastern Europe

Norwegian, Norway’s leading low cost carrier, will expand the operation on routes to eastern Europe from spring 2006.

The routes Oslo-Prague, Oslo-Warsaw and Oslo-Budapest will operate daily, Oslo-Krakow with five times weekly and Oslo-Gdansk with three times weekly. The route Oslo-Riga will continue three times weekly.

“Through low prices Norwegian has achieved a strong position on routes from Norway to eastern Europe, and from spring 2006 the company will increase the frequencies on these routes", says Norwegians Director Network and Revenue Daniel Skjeldam.

The prices starts from EUR 17 for routes to Riga and Gdansk, and from EUR 48 for routes to Budapest, Prague, Warsaw and Krakow. All prices includes all taxes.

 

Norwegian is Norway’s leading low cost carrier and started its operations 1st September 2002 with four domestic routes and six aircraft - Boeing 737-300. Today Norwegian has 14 aircraft (all Boeing 737-300) and operates nine domestic routes and 46 European routes from different cities in Norway.
