Wizz Air opens new route from Gdansk to Rome (FCO)

Wizz Air opens new routes and offers re-routing alternatives to stranded Centralwings passengers.

Wizz Air, the largest low fare – low cost airline in Poland announced today that it would operate new Warsaw-Bologna, Katowice-Bologna and Gdansk-Rome Fiumicino services as well as increase frequencies on the existing Katowice-Rome Ciampino route starting from 27 October 2008 for rescuing passengers affected by Centralwings’ cancellations of all of its scheduled flights.
Each of the new routes will be served twice weekly initially while Katowice – Rome will be operated daily.
Wizz Air is providing re-routing opportunities on its existing network and new routes to stranded Centralwings customers as follows:
